Rethink Your Budget & Make Room for Organics

Free up more dollars for organic food by trimming the fat from your conventional food budget.

Areas where you may be able to trim the fat and improve your food budget:

  • Fast Food and Eating Out Purchases - cooking your own meals and eating at home is cheaper.
  • Forget that morning cappuccino from your favorite over-priced coffee house. Brew your own.
  • Stop buying junk food and processed sugar products.
  • Buy fresh foods and not higher priced processed foods.
  • Buy only as much as you'll need and stop letting food go bad in the frig.
  • Don't buy herbs ... grow your own.
  • Don't buy baby food in a jar ... mash up the food you eat...it is cheaper and healthier.
  • Buy less meat and stock up on cheaper fruits and veggies.
  • Eat more rice and legumes ... they are very economical.

Add up all the dollars you spend every month on food, including fast food meals, morning cups of coffee, bagels and even trips to vending machines. A small change in your eating habits could free up the money you need to buy the organic foods that you really want.
